The Mission of the Strong Secure Single Men’s Housing Co-operative is to provide a haven where men who have experienced harassment or discrimination by landlords can heal through a team approach so they become strong and secure in themselves and confident they can handle life challenges without resorting to drugs or alcohol or similar unproductive acts.

This housing co-operative approach to reducing homelessness among men that is caused by landlord discrimination is visionary. There has never been another such approach at any time in the history of the world. Every previous approach has been through renting, which has shown it does not work and it cannot work because of landlord discrimination .
